Membership Parents and teachers of Cloverdale School are welcome to join and become active members of the PTA at any time. The official membership drive is usually held during the months of August and September. PTA is a way to get involved with your child’s school.
Privileges of PTA Membership 1. Voting privileges at PTA general meetings. 2. Holding a Board position. 3. Using the blood bank.
PTA Goals and Objectives 1. To promote the welfare of children and youth at home, at school and in the community. 2. To bring the home and the school into a closer relationship with each other so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of the child.
PTA Activities At Cloverdale School, parents are encouraged to be active participants in our students' educational program. Our PTA helps Cloverdale by disseminating information about state legislation pertaining to schools, by doing fundraising, by helping to provide volunteers for the classrooms and during picture days, and by providing awards and assemblies. Parents are encouraged to help with PTA activities. Some of the activities are as follows: PTA meetings, field trips/student events, Fall Festival, Red Ribbon Week, student awards, incentives and assemblies, earthquake preparedness, yearbook, teacher recognition and appreciation.
