Dear Parents,
On behalf of the teachers and staff at Cloverdale School, I want to extend a warm welcome to you and your child. We are proud of our school and are confident that your child will experience the highest quality educational programs during a productive and exciting year.
I would appreciate your assistance in the following ways to help the school year run smoothly:
- Send your child to school each morning with lunch and any special instructions for the day, such as if there is a change in who will be picking them up.
- Classroom interruptions will not be made to give messages to your child except in extreme emergencies.
- Please “sign in” at the office when you visit the school (as required by District Policy AR 1250).
- Practice safety when picking up or dropping off your child at school. Allow your child to walk to and from school to help relieve congestion.
- Please review the student handbook with your child. It is important for all students to be aware of behavioral expectations so mutual respect and cooperation can be maximized.
We believe that open communication between school and home is a key component to your child’s education. Everyone at Cloverdale is here to help your child be successful. If he/she is having problems with another student, on the playground, assignments, grades, etc., please contact the teacher first.
Our desire is to make every school day a positive and successful educational experience. By working together, we can accomplish great things for your child.
